Unused, embossed copper plated ashtray souvenir from the 1933 Chicago World's Fair. Originally available at the Chrysler Motor Exhibit. Complete with original box.

Beautiful copper plated surfaces with art deco 4-way cigarette design. Edging appears as three tiered steps. The center is embossed with the facade of the Chrysler Motor Exhibit with the model names Dodge, De Soto, Plymouth, and Chrysler. The fair's name and date appear a perspective view of the building with simulated sunrays contained within three concentric circles are embossed in the center.

The yellow, white and black printed box show an almost identical design with the addition of "Where Friends Meet" at the bottom. One of each of the four model car names appear on the edge of the box. The reverse side was printed for use as a mailing container. It even includes a spot where you're supposed to put the stamp. The box still has all six of its original endflaps (with car names).

Size: 3" square and approximately ¼" deep.
